The future is not set. There's no fate but what we make.
I focus on AIGC, AI Agents and AI models for understanding genome sequences — understanding the language of life. I build intelligent systems that decode biological data and explore the frontier where artificial intelligence meets genomics.
Hey, I'm Mike. This site is my corner of the internet where I document research, share ideas, and occasionally ramble about things I find fascinating. Writing keeps me honest and thinking clearly — so here we are.
My work sits at the intersection of AI and genomics. I build AI agents and generative models that interpret genome sequences — from DNA foundation models to agentic bioinformatics pipelines. The goal: teaching machines to read the language of life.
Swimming is my reset button — nothing clears the mind like laps in the pool. When I'm not in the water, you'll probably find me picking up the guitar. Simple pleasures that keep things balanced.

Bumble Bee is a static blog built by Jekyll (a powerful framework could compile static blogs from markdown files automatically.). At the begining, I spend too much time in webpage design while no blog was posted. I realized that my main job should be writing more blogs. Thus I chose a suitable template and focus on writing quickly. iLotus is my final choice. It's a beautiful theme forked from Pizn. And it is simple and comfortable for reading. Additionally, I also add many new custom features, like code highlight, quickly search and math formulation supports, to enrich its functions. Within these powerful tools, I really enjoy the processes of writing blogs.
